Offering Butter Lamps

In all the world's great spiritual traditions, light is offered in prayer and remembrance. We can offer for those who are suffering, facing difficulties or who have died, and for situations in the world that touch our hearts. We can also offer lights as an expression of our love, joy or gratitude. At Dzogchen Beara Retreat Centre, lights are offered in the Tibetan Buddhist custom in a traditional hand crafted Butter Lamp House. Lamps can be offered and lit directly by visitors to the centre or you can send us a request and we can light them for you.
