Ringu Tulku Rinpoche Visits Rigpa Centre in Berlin

Ringu Tulku Rinpoche blesses the three-metre high Buddha statue in Rigpa's Berlin Centre. The statue is a replica of the seven-metre Buddha statue in the Temple at Lerab Ling, itself a replica of the renowned Buddha statute at Bodhgaya in Northern India, the place of the Buddha's enlightenment.

Ringu Tulku Rinpoche, a Tibetan Buddhist Master of the Kagyu Order, visited the Rigpa Centre in Berlin on 10 April 2008.

Together with Lama Shenga he blessed the Buddha statue and the Centre and was given a guided tour of the Centre including the accommodation rooms.

He then joined some members of the Rigpa Berlin sangha, and members of his own sangha for lunch, a warm and friendly conclusion to his visit.

In the Centre's visitor's book Rinpoche wrote,

"I have no doubt that this centre will bring the living wisdom of buddhism more strongly to the West".
